LEGO bricks were given out for a purchase, from which a Migros branch could be built. In the app, games involving Migros products can be played with in a LEGO world using a pair of Migros cardboard VR glasses.
Experience StoryMania with its audio-story figures and exciting adventures in the Migros Play app. In addition to Disney figures, there are now also exciting audio stories for the Migroswichtel imps. All audio stories can also be listened to without an internet connection.
For the Easter campaign, we developed AR cuddly animal masks for the sweetest Easter photos with mega-cute effect on Easter-time selfies.
For this campaign, Migros collaborated with the “Animal Planet” TV channel and brought the animal pictures to life. In addition to the AR animals, it is also possible to colour in animal templates which can then be turned into a 3D augmented reality animal with the app and interacts with the real environment.
The image scanner from Catchoom recognises the picture cards in a fraction of a second. We selected the solution from Catchoom for the scanner function. This supports image recognition, i.e. the scanner recognises the image itself and the scanning of a code is not required. A very smart and reliable solution. The scanner also offers the advantage that the image recognition happens on the device, so it also works offline, i.e. without internet connection. However, changes to the picture cards that should be recognised can be made at any time via the Cloud.
All potential campaigns can be implemented in the MPlay app developed by us and made accessible to the children in a simple and easily understandable way. In the innovative in-app augmented reality solutions on a Unity basis, we work with MSM.digital amongst others. The campaigns change regularly but the app always remains installed on the users’ devices, which is a huge advantage in the acceptance of the individual campaigns.
